Carol
Seven years ago, Carol was diagnosed with lobular breast cancer, a rare diagnosis for a young woman. Carol was connected with the Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care, who provided her with a grant, and together, we helped Carol fight cancer and she is now in remission.
Now, Carol has made it her mission to help other cancer patients as an email buddy through a network of supporting the foundation’s fosters.
Giselle
Giselle was only five years old when she was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and around the same time, her mother also faced a cancer diagnosis. Always a super-trooper, Giselle powered through rounds of treatment and time missed from school.
Giselle and her family relied on the Beauty Foundation for help with medical co-pays, meal deliveries, and other necessities during treatment. The best day came two years later when Giselle was deemed to be on a strong path to recovery and is a healthy pre-teen today!

Michelle
Michelle was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer in her mid-40’s. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and dozens of doctors appointments in-between, her prognosis is now positive for a complete recovery!
Michelle relied on the love of family and friends for support, but it was the Beauty Foundation for Cancer Care who helped her with necessities like a wig, rent payments, and health benefit premiums. She now helps give that support back to others who are newly diagnosed as a partner to the Beauty Foundation.
